Request Initial Password

Here you can request the initial temporary password using the same personal email address you provided during registration. After changing this initial password, you will not be able to retrieve it through this service. If you have forgotten your password, please refer to the "How to Reset Your Password" section above.

Enter your DLH username in the format firstname.lastname, then click Access workspace.

You are redirected to Microsoft with your email pre-filled. Click Next.

Enter your password and click Sign in. First-time users will be asked to update their temporary password.

After signing in, Microsoft will prompt you to set up MFA. This step is optional but strongly recommended. Microsoft suggests the Microsoft Authenticator app: download it on your phone, click Next and follow instructions. You can also choose "I want to use a different method" for email or SMS. You may skip MFA setup and be prompted again later.

From your workspace home, open the Virtual Machines section.

You see the virtual machines assigned to you. Use Start to power on the VM of your module, then connect via the browser-based interface. Remember to Stop your VM when done to preserve shared resources.

Go to office.com and enter your DLH Microsoft account (firstname.surname@student.dlh.lu for students, @trainer.dlh.lu for trainers).

On the password screen, click “Forgot my password”.

Enter your DLH email (usually already filled) and the characters to prove you're not a bot, then click Next.

Choose to receive a verification code on your personal email (the one you registered with on dlh.lu). Part of the address is hidden by asterisks — click “Email”.

You receive the verification code by email. Example:

Enter the verification code as soon as possible — it expires after a few minutes.

Enter your new password and confirm it. It must meet Microsoft's security requirements.

Once the requirements are met and the password confirmed, click Finish.

Your password is reset — return to office.com to sign in.

For security reasons, you will also receive an email confirming that your password has been reset.

Reset Your MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)

You can reset your MFA setup by first requesting a reset token to your registered email address, and then confirming the token below. If you no longer have access to your email, please contact it@dlh.lu.
